With a left leg Ambrosio Abancens saved The Big Bang Team Jr. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in The Big Bang Team Jr.'s zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Abancens came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Ambrosio Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Ambrosio Abancens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save The Big Bang Team Jr. from getting a goal against them. Gunnar Björklund hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goalkeeper Ambrosio Abancens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Ambrosio Abancens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Big Bang Team Jr.'s goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
