Pascual Carballar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Bernardo Raggio made a huge save. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. In the 79th minute, Silvio Abadia made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. In the 88th minute of the match, Abram Secada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Raggio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garcia Morros, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
