Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sjaak Degens made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buitenhout FC's Tudor Mihoc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Rafael van Zeggeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tudor Mihoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferry Hebels. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Buitenhout FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjaak Degens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudor Mihoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Reinders in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Mihoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Buitenhout FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jacobus Spoel hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Mihoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Mihoc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tudor Mihoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Buitenhout FC's Robert Ramzinski was substituted for Ruud Reinders. Tudor Mihoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iwo Wietrzychowski struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buitenhout FC. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ferry Hebels came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Tudor Mihoc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Ramzinski in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Buitenhout FC were awarded a corner. Ted Fokkelman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Buitenhout FC's Ferry Hebels to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
