Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, White StarZ's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Gonçalo Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jordi Peñaranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Ernst Vestlund was the one to do the kick off.
