Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Budzyn in the 10th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bękarty Wojny's Herbert Tworek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Herbert Tworek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 16th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Tworek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Tworek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Tworek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Herbert Tworek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Herbert Tworek made a huge save. 78 minutes in the game Aleksander Kaznocha did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fryderyk Prosowski. The supporters of Chile booed when Bękarty Wojny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Kaznocha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
