Nono Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Van Schouten sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Säfvahöjden's goalkeeper Nono Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Sigvard Ånger hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nono Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Säfvahöjden's goalkeeper Nono Gol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Säfvahöjden's Nono Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Van Schouten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nono Gol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nono Gol made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Säfvahöjden's Sonny Wallin was substituted for Van Schouten. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Säfvahöjden's Håkan Petersson in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Oskar Hääger charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nono Gol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Mattias Albom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After 82 played minutes Säfvahöjden got a freekick which was hit by Holger Granström. In the 82nd minute, Don Olofinjana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nono Gol acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nono Gol came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 86th minute. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Säfvahöjden's Don Olofinjana got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Säfvahöjden fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
