Pegale De Puntín's Ball Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of play. Ball Hold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Bilbo in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

52 minutes into the match, Pegale De Puntín's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ball Hold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Pegale De Puntín's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 69th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ball Hold. Ball Hold yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Leopoldo Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Hold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Pegale De Puntín's Segundo Niva, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Pegale De Puntín. Pegale De Puntín's Venancio Cordearo was substituted for Prudencio Fernado. Ball Hold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Facundo Cadaval took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Ball Hold to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
