Manuel Lovinescu made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Czeslaw Pawlak sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Lovinescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Palacio in the 19th minute. Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Ubarna during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Oltul Slatina's Manuel Lovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 29th minute of play. Manuel Lovinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Mateo Palacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Lovinescu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 37th minute of the match Neil Cassar Overend shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Napoleon Jajko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Zjem Cię's Ciriaco Emenon was substituted for Tolek Wojtyna. 55 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's Mateo Palacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Lovinescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 56 played minutes FC Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Denis Cângea. Manuel Lovinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Lovinescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Palacio went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Palacio in the 76th minute of play forced FC Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Manuel Lovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Palacio struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Manuel Lovinescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zjem Cię. FC Oltul Slatina made a substitution. Șerban Tilincă replaced Denis Cângea. After having played for 83 minutes, Mateo Palacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zjem Cię's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Palacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Mateo Palacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Manuel Lovinescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zjem Cię made a substitution. Lino Orešar replaced Jim Morrison. Mateo Palacio struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Manuel Lovinescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zjem Cię. After 97 played minutes Zjem Cię got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Cempa. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zjem Cię had played much better football throughout.
