Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After taking down the ball on Le Stade Briochin UC's corner Farid Verrecchia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. If Nolan Roux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Roux in the 19th minute of play. Jaime Tabor scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Jaime Tabor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jaime Tabor hit a great ball. Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Tabor came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Tabor was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Nedellec came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lev Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Luis Andino scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lev Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Jaime Tabor got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 88th minute Dimitri Nedellec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dimitri Nedellec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
