Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. If Ancho Bogdev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Vancho Palahanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kayalu FC's goalkeeper Iliyan Yavrichev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute of the match, Vancho Palahanov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 15th minute of play forced Kayalu FC's goalkeeper Iliyan Yavrichev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ancho Bogdev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Kayalu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ancho Bogdev to maneuver through the defense. Iliyan Yavrichev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iliyan Yavrichev quite easily take care of the ball. Iliyan Yavrichev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Kayalu FC's Dimo Toshkov got a free kick in the 38th minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ancho Bogdev in the 42nd minute. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vancho Palahanov was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ancho Bogdev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ancho Bogdev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 57th minute, Ancho Bogdev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Iliyan Yavrichev made a huge save. A collision led to Kayalu FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Boncho Zaev hit a great ball. Iliyan Yavrichev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 69th minute. Iliyan Yavrichev was a little too slow when Axel Tasis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 2-2. Tzvetomir Mehandzhiev charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tzvetomir Mehandzhiev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Kayalu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tzvetomir Mehandzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzvetomir Mehandzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
