With a left leg Aleksandr Vasyutin saved Revenge from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink. The crowd rose to their feet as Revenge's Kees Koole slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kees Koole in the 33rd minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Avram Cazimir advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 34th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksandr Vasyutin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play forced Revenge's goalkeeper Aleksandr Vasyutin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksandr Vasyutin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Berend Hermensen came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 45 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink made the kick off in the second half. Revenge walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
