In the 19thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wonderkids's Didi Dionísio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Dionísio was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

A collision led to Wonderkids getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Svetozar Petrusevski hit a great ball. Avram Radevski kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Wonderkids got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viktor Ödmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Wonderkids's corner Viktor Ödmann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball.
