The supporters of Ecuador booed when Yaman Academy® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enes Ortanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kerimhan Azim made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Kerimhan Azim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Kerimhan Azim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerimhan Azim in the 58th minute of play. A wasted opportunity for Yaman Academy®. 65 minutes into the match, Yaman Academy®'s Kerimhan Azim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Kerimhan Azim managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Yaman Academy® had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
