The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Arlo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Laureano Rameriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Fermin Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Qiu Hong Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Hurko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edmundo Espiga. In the 60th minute, Fermin Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Rameriz in the 63rd minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Rameriz in the 74th minute of play. Fuerte Esperanza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 88 played minutes Fuerte Esperanza FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo-Nicolás Ponzio. The throw-in from Enzo-Nicolás Ponzio in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 92 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Chris-George Henrix came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Chris-George Henrix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Ramon Blasco made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Laureano Rameriz immediately put the ball in play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fuerte Esperanza FC.
