Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Uzuri to strike the kick off in the second half. Merdin Merdaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Felix Garrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 86th minute, Pedro Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Thalis Mileta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
