Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Furtado in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Fermin Furtado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Benito Sanz 5 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Fermin Furtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With an all-out effort, Fuerte Esperanza FC's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fermin Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Furtado in the 13th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Furtado struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuerte Esperanza FC. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Laureano Rameriz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laureano Rameriz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Furtado in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hector Hurko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Fuerte Esperanza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Raymundo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fuerte Esperanza FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris-George Henrix got free with Benito Sanz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Fermin Furtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuerte Esperanza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 38 minutes of play, Fuerte Esperanza FC's Laureano Rameriz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Rameriz in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fuerte Esperanza FC's Enzo-Nicolás Ponzio was substituted for Benedicto Raymundo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Diego Arlo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 56 minutes into the match, Laureano Rameriz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Rameriz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 59 minutes of play, Fuerte Esperanza FC's Fermin Furtado made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Diego Arlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. When Fuerte Esperanza FC's Laureano Rameriz in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris-George Henrix in the 73rd minute of the match. Hector Hurko stood somewhat misplaced when Axel Tasis came free in front of goal and shot 10-1 to the left of him in the 76 minute. In the 79th minute Chris-George Henrix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Alfonso Chan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 83 minutes of play, Fuerte Esperanza FC's Laureano Rameriz made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfonso Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Chris-George Henrix scored 13-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Furtado in the 96th minute of play. Fuerte Esperanza FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
