The crowd rose to their feet as Fuerte Esperanza FC's Laureano Rameriz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 3-0 after 11 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the game, Qiu Hong Jun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fuerte Esperanza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Fuerte Esperanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiu Hong Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Rameriz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Fuerte Esperanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiu Hong Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute of the match Fuerte Esperanza FC got a corner. Paraguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qiu Hong Jun ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Fuerte Esperanza FC's Laureano Rameriz to a score. 6-0 in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Furtado in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Rameriz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Furtado in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. If Fermin Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Rameriz in the 58th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Laureano Rameriz made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris-George Henrix, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Fermin Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Fuerte Esperanza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Furtado couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Laureano Rameriz made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Fuerte Esperanza FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Fuerte Esperanza FC's Laureano Rameriz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fermin Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Fermin Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Laureano Rameriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Fuerte Esperanza FC's Laureano Rameriz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfonso Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Furtado came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense.
