Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sundens BK's Per Eliasson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Axel Martinsson. Sundens BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sundens BK's Axel Martinsson. Axel Martinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Axel Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sundens BK defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Martinsson. The Sundens BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Martinsson should have stopped the shot. In the 30th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Lindmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When Sundens BK's Carlos Netto in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Per Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute, Jan-Ove Lindmark sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sundens BK's Axel Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Sundens BK from getting a goal against them. Axel Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Martinsson having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Eliasson in the 74th minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Axel Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Sundens BK's Axel Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sundens BK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Eliasson in the 83rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Per Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Albert Gernberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Albert Gernberg. A hard shot by Daniel Zorita from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Axel Martinsson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ecuador played a much better game than Sundens BK and deserved their victory. The Sundens BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
