Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Thomas Wassberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when George Svensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Vallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Svensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's George Svensson. But to his dismay, George Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thomas Wassberg took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute of the game Östen Vennersten made a throw-in which Alex Vallin played forward. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Hugo Nyman replaced Rudolf Josefsson. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Dennis Edström replaced George Svensson. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Torgny Mogren replaced Thomas Wassberg. Tomas Illescas in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aron Dahlbom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 70 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Alf Säfström. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With his leg Aron Dahlbom managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After having played for 74 minutes, Alex Vallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAFFIAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Vallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Kristoffer Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Mogren in the 81st minute of play. Aron Dahlbom made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Kristoffer Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Alex Vallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Torgny Mogren managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAFFIAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Mogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
