Bogdan Fafinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Udalaitz could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. If Andres Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a NapoleonMG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. If Jonathan Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Arias during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baldomero Arias hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Fafinski was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Cai in the 23rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Udalaitz in the 25th minute. Jonathan Udalaitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Hector Romildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 48 minutes, Alexander Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the NapoleonMG players grew even worse after the yellow card. 47 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 49th minute of the game, NapoleonMG got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Cai made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, NapoleonMG's Nicky Foote made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Udalaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. NapoleonMG's Bogdan Fafinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save NapoleonMG from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in NapoleonMG's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Fafinski came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, NapoleonMG's Gualterio Cai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. During the 82nd minute of the match Lautaro Puig completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Cai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Gualterio Cai might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Cai ran back to his position shaking his head. Bogdan Fafinski made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. NapoleonMG's Bogdan Fafinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that NapoleonMG were the better team. NapoleonMG's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
