In the 14th minute, Peru's Eliseo Mina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Teodovico Javia came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodovico Javia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodovico Javia in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ander Mees was slow to take the kick. During this time Fire Breathers FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ciano Trasloseros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Teodovico Javia took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 29thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire Breathers FC's Zavier Wagner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper Zavier Wagner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Eliseo Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zavier Wagner was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodovico Javia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fire Breathers FC made a substitution. Jakue Cameno replaced Ciano Trasloseros. In the 85th minute of the match Eliseo Mina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zavier Wagner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Zavier Wagner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes Fire Breathers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 92 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
