Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Marin Jumancă dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-0. After 13 minutes, Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huckebein and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mehmet Ferit Ayçetin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Apolo Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Jumancă got free with Rolando Noboa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Huckebein's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Apolo Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Lucjan Kendra got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Huckebein's Apolo Santxol got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Jumancă in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Huckebein got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Ugutz. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Wilfredo Ugutz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Peru's Milagros Fraga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucjan Kendra, made in the 71st minute of the game. Apolo Santxol made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Santxol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Augustyn in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Dalkvist came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Wolfgang Dalkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huckebein fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After having played for 84 minutes, Antonio Tenorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Tenorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huckebein's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Mina was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Eliseo Mina almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Huckebein's Apolo Santxol did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Apolo Santxol in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Huckebein getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Everardo Presebal hit a great ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Huckebein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Apolo Santxol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Huckebein had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
