Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mujahid Lim got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Di Scord narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 3rd match minute, Lobster if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Felo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Axel Tasis scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Di Scord, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Helge Trillkott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Mujahid Lim took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Lobster if defense, Eliseo Noboa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Di Scord. The Lobster if fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Di Scord should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Hans Asklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobster if's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 40th minute, Hans Asklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Mujahid Lim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mujahid Lim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. With a little luck, Lobster if's Di Scord got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Överman in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Lobster if getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wang Hai Hong hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mujahid Lim in the 68th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Överman in the 75th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Abel Carballo was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Helge Trillkott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
