An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Čerina in the 4th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, NK FOLKROLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Pagomari to maneuver through the defense. Teodor Čerina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 14 played minutes NK FOLKROLA got a freekick which was hit by Blažo Koren. Maurice Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lun Majstorović, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Čerina. If John Melet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodor Čerina's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Teodor Čerina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NK FOLKROLA:s goal. The referee gave NK FOLKROLA a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teodor Čerina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. 48 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lun Majstorović came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodor Čerina made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Melet in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when NK FOLKROLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Čerina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Maurice Himschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Lun Majstorović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Čerina in the 61st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ožbalt Ajdič went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Čerina in the 71st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lun Majstorović's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Lun Majstorović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Čerina in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Čerina in the 85th minute of the match. Ismael Roldanillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Lun Majstorović made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lun Majstorović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lun Majstorović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
