Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Quin in the 3rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Eliu in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Jeremias Bitxintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Toribio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bar-Met FC's Fabricio Beremundo got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Hunfredo saved Bar-Met FC from getting behind. Fabricio Beremundo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Beremundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bar-Met FC's Fabricio Beremundo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Pablo Hunfredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Bitxintxo in the 42nd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. If Jeremias Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Quin in the 67th minute of play. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Hunfredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When Axel Tasis fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Axel Tasis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bar-Met FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Hunfredo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Jeremias Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Bitxintxo scored 1-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Cleto Domenec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bar-Met FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Domenec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
