The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Onyx a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The supporters of Onyx booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wojciech Barycz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Barycz in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Jurand Jaraczeski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Jaraczeski in the 28th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onyx were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emrys Hannah took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Emrys Hannah got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zdzislaw Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Wojciech Barycz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Onyx were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Onyx's Piotr Zahemski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 56th minute. Konrad Bubczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piotr Zahemski in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Jurand Jaraczeski took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Konrad Bubczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Piotr Zahemski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Onyx's Jurand Jaraczeski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Zdzislaw Domarecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piotr Zahemski went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Jaraczeski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şahap Cezar during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Onyx getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Şahap Cezar hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Jurand Jaraczeski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Onyx were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
