Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Richard Fredriksson made the kick off and thus started the match. Roger Hellström hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Luz Tejedor in the 6th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Toni Schumacher's left hand side. Peru were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after FC Bullen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Roland Topp scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 1-0. In the 26th minute Amador Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bullen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt Pååk in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lopes in the 38th minute of play. The throw-in from Tord Hökkvist in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Peru booed when FC Bullen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Hökkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Bullen's Toni Schumacher got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Toni Schumacher made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Merexildo in the 59th minute of play. Richard Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Milagros Fraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Schumacher was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Amador Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Bullen's Philip Drake was substituted for Richard Fredriksson. Peru's attentive Milagros Fraga managed to snatch the ball when Tord Hökkvist made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toni Schumacher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
