Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joel Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Iustinian Ipătescu sent off a good shot on target. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DFP's Joel Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute of play. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Vallengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Joel Vallengren in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. DFP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Facundo Cadaval at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of DFP. 0-2. Joel Vallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Joel Vallengren 62 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Vallengren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Joel Vallengren threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 87 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Joel Vallengren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
