Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 38 minutes DFP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 38th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Bjurström was the one to do the kick off. DFP's Charlie Bjurström got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano Lilipaly in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, DFP's Joel Vallengren got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because DFP had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
