Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Gurbanovtsi's Ognyan Kurudzhiev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. After 4 played minutes, FC Gurbanovtsi's Timur Achuev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Gurbanovtsi reached it. In the 5th minute, Trifon Stolarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. In the 8th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trifon Stolarov in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilhelm Palonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Palonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Ognyan Kurudzhiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gurbanovtsi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ognyan Kurudzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Gurbanovtsi's Vilhelm Palonen got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Trifon Stolarov came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, FC Gurbanovtsi's Ognyan Kurudzhiev made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Ognyan Kurudzhiev made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half FC Gurbanovtsi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilhelm Palonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Vilhelm Palonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Vilhelm Palonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, FC Gurbanovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Vilhelm Palonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timur Achuev hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 0-3 became the score in the 69th minute when Trifon Stolarov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Nedko Vatov sent off a good shot on target. Ognyan Kurudzhiev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of FC Gurbanovtsi booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Gurbanovtsi were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timur Achuev took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Timur Achuev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 84 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Vilhelm Palonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Gurbanovtsi's Nedko Vatov got a free kick in the 88th minute. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Gurbanovtsi's Timur Achuev was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The FC Gurbanovtsi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
