Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 9th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Eberl in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Großberghofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Hopp to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Edwin Eberl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Eberl in the 17th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven Appenzeller's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert. Rufus Bangert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Rufus Bangert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Appenzeller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Großberghofen's Edwin Eberl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Sven Appenzeller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 44thth minute of the game Sven Appenzeller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Appenzeller in the 50th minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Irmin Michalsky came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Großberghofen's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Bangert came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rufus Bangert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Appenzeller in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Rufus Bangert in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Großberghofen's Edwin Eberl got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rufus Bangert was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rufus Bangert made a huge save. When Nils Hopp came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Großberghofen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Hopp couldn't finish the play. Großberghofen's Irmin Michalsky got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Bangert having to interfere. Irmin Michalsky took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.
