Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Johans in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Johans who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Vicente Squella kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 14th minute of play. After 19 minutes General Velásquez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd minute Jorge Vicente Squella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Clemente Tuñon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Clemente Tuñon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Henry Tucknott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Goycolea kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Jorge Vicente Squella tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Tucknott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Urtsín Aceiton hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Tuñon in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jorge Vicente Squella made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Jorge Vicente Squella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 minutes of play, General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69thth minute of the game Jorge Vicente Squella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jorge Vicente Squella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 70th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Tuñon in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtsín Aceiton to maneuver through the defense.
