La vecchia signora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graham Boss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Dominguez Codony came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The La vecchia signora players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Panama from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
