Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 2 minutes into the match, Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zachariasz Dudkowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 2nd minute, Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zachariasz Dudkowski. Zachariasz Dudkowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Downchester City's Jose Heredia in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie prevented a goal. Arnaldo Albano made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Downchester City's Ángel De Silva. Augusto Estefan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fumo Canuto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. CRUZ DEL SUR were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Downchester City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bautista Marcó took the corner. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Downchester City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bautista Marcó was slow to take the kick. During this time CRUZ DEL SUR's players had a chance to rest. The corner led CRUZ DEL SUR's Abundio Manzano to fire away a dangerous shot which Fumo Canuto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fumo Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bautista Marcó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Heredia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zachariasz Dudkowski having to make a save. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arturo Vidal hit a great ball. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jose Heredia sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Estefan came free, but Fumo Canuto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Downchester City's Jose Heredia. But to his dismay, Jose Heredia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 47th minute Augusto Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Augusto Estefan made the kick off in the second half. Fumo Canuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Estefan in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Downchester City's Moi Samaniego got a free kick in the 61st minute. CRUZ DEL SUR's Fabio Zorondo was substituted for Ronnie Odell. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moi Samaniego didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Eustacio Antonucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Downchester City made a substitution. Munio Zubiaga replaced Sebastián Jaen. Arnaldo Albano made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bautista Marcó. With an all-out effort, CRUZ DEL SUR's Fumo Canuto threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pippin Aguilera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Mazuste Nobo came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolito Cano didn't get a good kick on the ball. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beila Marcilla in the 89th minute of play. Fabio Zorondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fumo Canuto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Downchester City fans cheered their team off the field, for while CRUZ DEL SUR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
