Gustaf Skräddare was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Dominguez Codony stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Dominguez Codony tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominguez Codony got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dominguez Codony could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. With an all-out effort, La vecchia signora's Lautaro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edvard Enström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ernst Andberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaf Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot.
