Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qian Xing Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of the match. Qian Xing Wei came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qian Xing Wei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Xing Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helge Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Qian Xing Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qian Xing Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Lundkvist came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viggo Lundkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viggo Lundkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Qian Xing Wei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Qian Xing Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Qian Xing Wei in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Eleven Nation Army's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qian Xing Wei came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes Eleven Nation Army got a freekick which was hit by Helge Brun. In the 95th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Eleven Nation Army fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
