Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's Jacek Przybyciel got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cris Courtois came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cris Courtois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Donato came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brian Finnman who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Juarês Donato heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 36 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. João Carlos Vianna's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Carlos Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, João Carlos Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Robin Steckamp notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Steckamp in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Wambalamba FC were awarded a corner. Brian Finnman went to the cornerflag to take it. Cris Courtois made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. João Carlos Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Finnman in the 60th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Robin Steckamp made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Wambalamba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Steckamp in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cris Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Wambalamba FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
