A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Romulo Urko hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tours Football Club's zone, Primitivo Taner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lech Blochowiak came out of the goal and Primitivo Taner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Faustin Hamet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Joachim Amerhauser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Arif Çelebi Ergener ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lech Blochowiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan Appiah in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Almqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lech Blochowiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustin Hamet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Arif Çelebi Ergener's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans-Joachim Amerhauser was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Joachim Amerhauser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bryan Kant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Lech Blochowiak made a huge save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fang Bin Tian to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Forza Heppenbach's goalkeeper Hans-Joachim Amerhauser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustin Hamet. In the 71st minute, Forza Heppenbach's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cyrille Jenny fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Forza Heppenbach from getting a goal against them. Cyrille Jenny took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hans-Joachim Amerhauser. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Tours Football Club's Christophe Régnault was substituted for Ulysse Houssais. In the 77th minute Stephan Appiah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Blochowiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Forza Heppenbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Edgar Ciolofan's late challenge caught a Tours Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Ciolofan helped the player get up and apologised. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Jenny in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Forza Heppenbach's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Jourdan was slow to take the kick. During this time Tours Football Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tours Football Club's Romulo Urko to fire away a dangerous shot which Hans-Joachim Amerhauser despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guy Jourdan made a great header on Tours Football Club's corner, it was just that Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrille Jenny in the 95th minute of play forced Forza Heppenbach's goalkeeper Hans-Joachim Amerhauser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tours Football Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
