The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Dobrin Dinev hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Vilhelm Palonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 18th minute of the match. Paolo Matia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Gurbanovtsi getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Yanaki Doykin hit a great ball. Ognyan Kurudzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Panama booed when FC Gurbanovtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bone Rochev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Gurbanovtsi were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ognyan Kurudzhiev made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Yanaki Doykin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Palonen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vilhelm Palonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vilhelm Palonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, FC Gurbanovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Vilhelm Palonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ognyan Kurudzhiev scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, FC Gurbanovtsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bone Rochev to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Palonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes FC Gurbanovtsi got a freekick which was hit by Bone Rochev. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Ros's late challenge caught a FC Gurbanovtsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Ros helped the player get up and apologised. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Lyuben Mitrakiev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
