With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind 【FLY】ING FOX's goalkeeper 程诚卫, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Joaquin Prats was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 程诚卫 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 【FLY】ING FOX's goalkeeper 程诚卫, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the 【FLY】ING FOX defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 程诚卫. The 【FLY】ING FOX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 程诚卫 should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 程诚卫 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play forced 【FLY】ING FOX's goalkeeper 程诚卫 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 程诚卫. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 程诚卫 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Cezar Gologan made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina.
