Los once leones Ourense's Albano Unzueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los once leones Ourense's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Unzueta came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Cacheres came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Unzueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dabi Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Cacheres. In the 32nd minute, Dabi Vila made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Dabi Vila dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Los once leones Ourense booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Cacheres, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. The supporters of Panama booed when Los once leones Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo-Enrique Alabern didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Paz. In the 59th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Unzueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nereo Cacheres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Nereo Cacheres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dabi Vila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Unzueta made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Nereo Cacheres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Cacheres came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Dabi Vila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Los once leones Ourense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
