Racing Rocafort C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oro Cameno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 95th minute of the match Bo Holmgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kajetan Hodyl hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Racing Rocafort C.F. could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
