Patryk Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patryk Siekierski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute. Patryk Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mario Salerno sent off a good shot on target. Patryk Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of the match. The Swatar United FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Mario Salerno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Pârcălab charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Pârcălab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Swatar United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Pârcălab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Pârcălab in the 66th minute of play. Patryk Siekierski made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Patryk Siekierski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. Neil Micallef's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Pârcălab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Sebastian Pârcălab kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
