Benedicto Eli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Tabor during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CA Trapito's Evaristo Tabor got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Evaristo Tabor made the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Tabor in the 74th minute of the match. Benedicto Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Trapito's goalkeeper Benedicto Eli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Benedicto Eli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jeronimo Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ivan Pirmin charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Pirmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CA Trapito getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ivan Pirmin hit a great ball. The CA Trapito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
