Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match Teodoro Eliu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Bar-Met FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cleto Domenec fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bar-Met FC's protests and gave Cleto Domenec a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bar-Met FC's Cleto Domenec got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cleto Domenec hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Hunfredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. The audience was convinced that Prospero Quin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 42 minutes of play, Bar-Met FC's Cleto Domenec made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 44th minute. Cleto Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Quin was the one to do the kick off. When Jeremias Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bar-Met FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Toribio charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Toribio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Bar-Met FC's Teodoro Eliu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Sanz but with some difficulty. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Jeremias Bitxintxo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd match minute, Bar-Met FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Domenec to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Hunfredo. Pablo Hunfredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Bar-Met FC's Jeremias Bitxintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Jeremias Bitxintxo sent off a good shot on target. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bar-Met FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
