William Gallas kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 魏风邦 came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's 魏风邦 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arsenal FC's 魏风邦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. 魏风邦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 魏风邦, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 魏风邦. Arsenal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper 魏风邦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 魏风邦. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. 魏风邦 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. 魏风邦 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. 魏风邦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 魏风邦 having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 邵战西 made a kick off. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 魏风邦. The goal made the score 0-7. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Luis Andino took a good shot, in the 60th minute, which hit the crossbar above 魏风邦's head, and flew over the goal. Arsenal FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Ecuador. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 魏风邦 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 马霖梁 in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 魏风邦. That made the score 0-8 after 66 minutes of play. In the 71st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 魏风邦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenal FC's 邱军凌 was substituted for 谢默奕. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 魏风邦. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of 魏风邦. Arsenal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. In the 81st minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of 魏风邦. Arsenal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 魏风邦 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenal FC made a substitution. 温光林 replaced 邵战西. 魏风邦 came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Ecuador played a much better game than Arsenal FC and deserved their victory. The Arsenal FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
