Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Maraponga FAC's Xacintu Magadan, in the 5th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Osmundsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maraponga FAC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jimmy Lind in the 22nd minute. Maraponga FAC's Jimmy Lind was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 27 minutes, Cristiano Osmundsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maraponga FAC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Osmundsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Osmundsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darren Verlet scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xacintu Magadan to make the kick off. Xacintu Magadan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 61st minute, Xacintu Magadan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maraponga FAC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Cristiano Osmundsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Osmundsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Maraponga FAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Verlet to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xacintu Magadan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xacintu Magadan in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xacintu Magadan scored 0-8 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maraponga FAC played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
