Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arne Eschenbaum got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced Legalize MZ's goalkeeper Filinto Palhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almiro Carmo charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Almiro Carmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Zorita placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Filinto Palhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Legalize MZ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Palmiro Nunes hit a great ball. Legalize MZ's Filinto Palhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Legalize MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Filinto Palhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Legalize MZ got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Zapolski. Filinto Palhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Palmiro Nunes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palmiro Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Legalize MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Filinto Palhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filinto Palhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 50th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Filinto Palhares made a huge save. After 63 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Eschenbaum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Legalize MZ were awarded a corner. Tanek Bobrowski went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tanek Bobrowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Arne Eschenbaum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Agustín Saelices a yellow card for diving instead. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Isidro Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Legalize MZ's Filinto Palhares got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filinto Palhares made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Legalize MZ were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
