Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 minutes Brufoss IL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Emanuel Markham tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 20th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Markham who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kai Østbye was slow to take the kick. During this time Brufoss IL's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Jakob Lode managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 28 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Borys Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borys Witek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Emanuel Markham hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Christer Ribe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Witek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Emanuel Markham tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sebastián Puig during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Remme in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Emanuel Markham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 minutes, Kent Remme made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Borys Witek. The goal made the score 2-2. Brufoss IL's Are Høiby was substituted for Kevin Strømsnes. In the 69th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Brufoss IL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 79th minute Juan Sebastián Puig suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Emanuel Markham hit a great ball. Borys Witek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Emanuel Markham put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
