Nils Elmhuus had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Densill 李天剑 from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. BiBa were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Red Army's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norbert Arbogast took the corner. BiBa's Kai-Uwe Bartek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigiusz Gabis in the 16th minute of play. Kaveh Bayat hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Remigiusz Gabis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kai-Uwe Bartek was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Kai-Uwe Bartek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Maia in the 37th minute of the match. Arya Javaheri was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Kai-Uwe Bartek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Reza Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Army's Nils Elmhuus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Red Army from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Densill 李天剑 to make the kick off.
